Can you tell us about yourself?

I was born as the second child of an engineer father and a mathematician mother. I started school at the age of 5, I entered the university at the age of 16 with a diagnosis of giftedness and top of the class. Although I was very smart and successful academically, I was known as too naive at the time. I would have difficulty completing organizational and procedural tasks, I would have difficulty expressing myself. Cooking was a nightmare, especially in terms of timing and execution, as a result of every cooking I would achieve innovative/fusion results.

I had memory problems, I learned fast and forgot fast. After school, I experienced a rapid rise in business life. However, under stress, my brain performance would deteriorate more than it should. Later in life, the problems got a little more, and I took care of my family members who had similar problems with me. In this process, I wanted to get to the root of this problem, which gradually reduced my quality of life and functionality. I got out of my comfort zone of software development and management, which I had been working on for years, and started to investigate the mysteries of the human brain. I have been doing research on this subject for the last 9 years, and in the last 5 years I have completed a doctoral program on this subject. The human brain is a very complicated organ, but in 9 years, I was able to come up with a solution and product for the human brain. In this process, I used the glasses of medical doctors to look at the situation and to solve the problem, I used engineering and mathematical techniques. The foundation of our algorithm is based on the infallible perfectionism of mathematics, providing incredible, miraculous, positive changes in every brain.

 

According to your research, why do you think brain conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, Alzheimer’s and anxiety are increasing nowadays?

The medical literature is full of thousands of articles based on cellular/molecular imaging techniques (fMRI, EEG) on these brain conditions over the last 10 years. It would not be right for me to express an opinion on how these situations occur, since I did not receive a medical education. What I have been able to do in the last 5 years has been to read almost all of the existing articles and find out common, similar and complementary aspects. When I combined it with my own subjective experience, I came to the conclusion that these conditions are of genetic origin. It would not be right to blame only genes, life full of chemicals, GMO products, sedentary life in the last century, stress reveal the bad side of 150 kinds of genes, and in fact, the entire metabolism is affected at the molecular level. Autoimmune problems arise. First, the immune system of the person deteriorates, then the endocrine processes are affected; The deterioration that begins at the cellular level is aggravated by environmental conditions and lifestyle. This process, which is reversible in the first 10 years of the disease, reaches an irreversible point when continuing the same lifestyle. And the corrupted genetic code is passed on to the next generations.

Even showing the person’s mental state in an impartial, online, real-time manner is the first step of recovery. Other steps are discipline, lifestyle change and tracking progress. Mobile phone applications can support people in their journey of self-knowledge and can be a bridge between the individual and the doctors.

What does your solution, Auto Train Brain, positively change in these brain states?

The most basic problems in auto-immune problems are inflammation, delay in the development of the body and brain. The 14-channel neurofeedback solution we created supports the maturation process and development of the brain. As the brain develops, with the opening of perception, the proper processing of stimuli from the environment increases and the stress level decreases. Neurofeedback reduces the brain training model that life spreads over a very long time to the millisecond level and offers accelerated brain training. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to treat brain conditions categorized as autoimmune with a method such as gene therapy, except for diet, sports, omega-3, special education and neurofeedback. The emergence of gene therapy methods as a solution will only be possible in the next 10-15 years. In the neurofeedback method, the individual’s own brain signals are visually displayed on a screen, and the success achieved in increasing/decreasing the desired brain activities is rewarded visually and audibly.
Neurofeedback method has been used for the last 30 years, but it is very expensive and difficult to access. It is not in a compact and side-effect-free state that you can always use at hand. Until our solution.

 

Is your neurofeedback algorithm compatible with the functional connectivity of the brain?

The human brain is a very complex structure. The functional connectivity of the brain is reminiscent of the streets of Manhattan, and this has been proven by the 5 years long Human Connectome Project. The functional connectivity of the brain consists of broad pathways that cross each other perpendicularly. In the left and right brain, the pathways connecting the anterior frontal lobe to the posterior, and the pathways connecting both hemispheres from the temporal lobe from left to right. The algorithm we created concentrates on the area in the brain where the most problems are measured and strengthens the normal connectivity structure of the brain. This is the heart of our product, protected by patent, creatively combining medical science, engineering and mathematics.
I think this algorithm is as important as Tesla’s discovery of wireless electricity 100 years ago, because it is an effective method where you will get positive results in almost everyone, regardless of the person’s belief in neurofeedback or personality traits.

 

How does the development of the brain affect the body positively?

The brain is the governing organ of man. According to the perception level of the brain, visual and auditory stimuli from the environment are interpreted and a decision is taken and turned into an action. Since neurofeedback opens perception and enables better processing of visual and auditory stimuli, first of all, environment/human harmony is achieved and the stress level of the person decreases. The decrease in the stress level also normalizes many functions at the cellular level and accelerates the growth process. The decrease in stress level also strengthens the immune system and contributes to the maturation process of the brain. In our product, neurofeedback is used to reduce slow waves in the brain.

 

Has Auto Train Brain been clinically tested?

Yes. Clinical study on 30 dyslexic children at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine was successfully completed. An increase was observed in the cognitive performance and reading skills of the children who received neurofeedback 3 times a week for a total of 60 times.

 

What are your next goals?

We want to position our Auto Train Brain product as a solution for developmental brain conditions related to auto-immunity, which is increasing all over the world as well as in Turkey. Along with other procedures recommended by doctors, it can be ensured that auto-immunity affects the quality of life of the person as little as possible and does not hinder his development. We hope to spread this message to as many people as possible, and to improve the quality of life and cognitive performance of as many people as possible.
AutoTrainBrain is a mobile phone software used in conjunction with the eMotiv EPOC+ head that reads from 14 electrodes and permanently improves the cognitive performance of people with dyslexia, autism, ADHD and Alzheimer’s in 60 and more home uses.
